WELCOME

 TO THE WEBSITE OF

ST GEORGES MASONIC LODGE No 166

Arthur Square, Belfast,

Co Antrim, Northern Ireland

The Lodge meets in the Nesbitt Room, Arthur Square, Belfast on the second Wednesday of each month (with the exception of June, July and August) at 7.30pm.

Visiting Brethren are always welcome at our meetings and the festive board thereafter.

The image below is a picture of our Masters jewel. The jewel was designed and crafted to represent our Lodge insignia, namely that of St George slaying the Dragon and was very kindly presented to our Lodge by Mrs Annie Magill and her family in memory of her late husband W.Bro Raymond Magill after his sudden and untimely demise during his tenure as our Worshipful Master, during our centenary year in 2008.

The jewel is suspended on a sky blue ribbon and worn with pride around the neck of the presiding Worshipful Master during his year in office and is handed over during the annual installation dinner in January.

It acts for us as a fond reminder of W. Bro Raymond Magill and the very special place that he not only played in St Georges, but also Masonry itself.

The Worshipful Master, Officers and Brethren of St Georges Masonic Lodge No 166 welcome you all, Masons and particularly non Masons to our website. It's here that we will attempt to dispel the some of the myths that surround our organisation, hopefully answer some if not all of your questions, whilst giving you an opportunity to meet us and see what we do and what we at St Georges 166 think is so special about belonging to our Lodge and the wider Masonic fraternity. Feel free to browse around our site and if you have questions or queries regarding anything you see or fail to see and in relation to Freemasonry on our site or indeed any others then please contact us and we will try and get it answered or resolved for you. Likewise if you think you may qualify for membership and our lodge fits your criteria then contact us and we will try our very best to help you.
